Painting :: Flow state

This painting was commissioned as a gift for my client’s husband who worked on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). I was inspired by the mind-blowing, vivid pictures of the cosmos that the telescope captures & Carl Sagan’s quote :: “We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.” I titled the piece “Flow state” because I believe we channel this universal consciousness when we become totally present through intuitive connection, like what happens while painting.
